In the news: our design among 'world's most stylish'

Our restaurant design for Little Saigon in East London has been named among the 'world's most stylish' in the national media. The Vietnamese street-food restaurant's colourful quirky design sits alongside large-scale creations from across the globe in a piece in the Daily Mail. The eighteen featured venues - all opened or redesigned in the past two years - are competing in the Restaurant and Bar category of the Society of British and International Design (SBID) awards.

Restaurant design impacts on success

Just out! Our restaurant design for Vietnamese street-food venue Little Saigon is 'proof of the impact an interior can have on the success of a restaurant' - according to leading industry magazine, Hospitality Interiors. In a double-page spread, the magazine highlights the design's recent inclusion on the prestigious SBID international design awards shortlist 'amidst fierce competition from restaurants and bars world-wide’. Replacing a run-down restaurant on Leytonstone high street, Little Saigon serves exciting street-food dishes in a colourful 100-seater space. Despite being a first venture for the owners, the Pham family, it had people queuing at the door on its opening day.

Claud W Dennis coffee shop design in the press

Leading industry magazine, Hospitality Interiors, has written a full page article on our coffee shop design for Claud W. Dennis.  Hot on the heels of their exposure in the Sunday Times, the North London coffee shop was singled out for its 'mix of old and new' that 'gives charming personality and a competitive edge'. Our coffee shop design for Claud W. Dennis, completed in Autumn 2014, played on the heritage of the building, and incorporated a number of fantastic vintage items found in the building's loft.  Named after the previous owner, a renowned local property man, the shop design made use of his original stain-glass window and advertising boards.

Claud W. Dennis shakes it up in the Sunday Times

We were excited to see our client Claud W. Dennis featured in yesterday's Sunday Times. The coffee shop's distinctive mix of vintage with modern technology was used as an example of how independents are innovating to build loyalty in a market dominated by chains.  According to the Sunday Times, branded chains control 40% of the £6.2 billion industry so independents have to work harder than many start-ups. Congratulations to Claud W. Dennis for their unique approach, preserving a slice of local history in their design while giving customers the technological tools they need for a modern cafe experience.

Avocado Sweets 'striking design' praised by leading industry magazine

Leading industry magazine, Hospitality Interiors has hailed our latest restaurant design as having brought 'a haven of vibrancy and comfort to central London.'   In their most recent edition, out today, the magazine's full page feature on Great British Fish and Chips praises the 'eye-catching interior' that they say "undoubtedly embodies what the designer set out to achieve: 'A colourful celebration of British design, icons, quirk and fun, which makes eating out an attraction in itself'".  Based in County Hall between top tourist destinations the London Eye, Dungeon and Aquarium, Hospitality Interiors adds that the design 'offers a sense of fun and vibrancy that appeals to tourists and locals alike'.
